Crayon announces full roll-out of next generation Cloud-iQ platform

Crayon Group Holding

OSLO, Norway - 30 September, 2025 - Crayon, a global leader in IT services and innovation, today fully released the next generation of its Cloud-iQ platform that has enhanced functionality and expanded capabilities for all customers and partners worldwide, setting a new industry benchmark for simplicity, intelligence, and cost control in cloud service licensing and management.

The award-winning Cloud-iQ helps organizations buy, manage, and optimize cloud services from leading providers such as Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, and Adobe.

"Cloud-iQ represents our vision for the future of cloud commerce," said Gudmundur Adalsteinsson, Chief Partner & Sales Officer at SoftwareOne, which recently combined with Crayon. "By bringing every partner and customer onto one intelligent, next-gen interface, Crayon is redefining how cloud services are bought, managed, and optimized. We now offer deeper insights, a broader vendor portfolio, and global compliance at a level competitors simply can't match."

The new version integrates years of partner feedback and proprietary research and development. It has a modern, streamlined user interface and analytics designed to outperform competing platforms in just a few clicks.

"We built Cloud-iQ with customers and partner needs at its core," said SoftwareOne Chief Technology Officer Larrie Clark. "We knew that, for example, forecasting and spend prediction were key for them, and embedded our cost optimization DNA into it through a predictive cost optimization and real-time usage intelligence section under insights."

The platform's new features go beyond what is in today's market. Customers and partners will see immediate gains in productivity and cost transparency, making cloud management easier and more strategic. In addition, its enhanced billing engine delivers clearer, more accurate invoices and multi-currency support, while advanced automation simplifies subscription management across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

The new platform is also engineered to seamlessly integrate with the new Microsoft Marketplace, empowering organizations to discover, purchase, and manage thousands of solutions.

Early adopters of the updated Cloud-iQ are already reporting tangible benefits.

"Cloud-iQ has really helped us simplify how we manage our operations. The new features make it easier for us to stay efficient and responsive to our clients," said Kai Loon, Managing Director of Prodginet, a cloud and data center solutions provider in Malaysia. "The new interface is so clean, lively and so much easier to navigate. It's made our day-to-day work feel smoother and more engaging."

With the next-generation platform becoming the default on September 30, existing users will easily transition to the new experience. All current capabilities remain available, with no increase in total cost of ownership, while gaining access to richer insights.
