CTEK AB: CTEK EXPANDS ITS BOOSTER FAMILY WITH THE LAUNCH OF RB 1500 AND RB 2000

CTEKPress release03.11.2026 klo 17.00

LAS VEGAS - 3 November 2026 - CTEK, a global leader in battery management solutions, has launched the RB 1500 and RB 2000 at the 2026 SEMA show, expanding its portable booster family following the positive international response to the RB 3000 and RB 4000.

The two new models bring instant starting power to more everyday drivers, completing a four-model RB range with options for different vehicles and needs. Together with CTEK's battery chargers, the expanded family helps drivers care for their batteries and stay prepared when an unexpected flat battery interrupts their plans.

More choice for the daily drive

Designed for everyday cars, motorcycles and other powersport vehicles, the RB 1500 and RB 2000 combine starting capability with a compact format that is easy to keep in a glovebox or bag. The RB 1500 delivers 1,500A battery peak current, while the RB 2000 offers 2,000A and additional capacity for more starts between charges.

Both models feature detachable cables for convenient storage, a built-in flashlight and power bank functionality for compatible electronic devices. Whether facing a flat battery before work or preparing for a weekend away, drivers have a practical source of backup power close at hand.

"We expanded the RB family to give more drivers a booster that fits their vehicle and everyday needs," said Per Hultberg, Product Owner at CTEK. "Feedback on the RB 3000 and RB 4000 has been particularly positive about their compact size compared with competing products. With the RB 1500 and RB 2000, we're bringing that same focus on compact design, build quality and practical features such as detachable cables to the daily drive."

A complete family for everyday and professional use

The RB 1500 and RB 2000 join the RB 3000, suited to households with several vehicles and self-employed users, and the RB 4000, developed for demanding applications such as workshops, fleets, farms and recovery. The expanded range gives customers a clear choice, from everyday motoring to starting vehicles as part of the working day.

Battery care and backup power together

CTEK's chargers and boosters play complementary roles. Regular charging helps maintain battery health and reduce the risk of starting problems, while a booster provides immediate starting assistance when a compatible vehicle battery is discharged. Together, they offer a more complete approach to keeping vehicles ready.

"Our aim is to help people stay ready, both through regular battery care and when the unexpected happens," Hultberg added. "Expanding the booster range gives customers more choice alongside our chargers, with solutions for everyday journeys and professional use."
