<div class="abstract">Gothenburg, February 12, 2025 - Elicera Therapeutics AB (publ), a clinical stage cell&nbsp;and gene therapy company developing next generation cancer treatments based on its&nbsp;proprietary commercial technology platform iTANK, announces today that the company has received notification of a partial payment of EUR 500,000 from the European Innovation Council (EIC) under the framework of its Accelerator Programme. This represents the third payment in a four-part funding program. The remaining grant amount of EUR 375,000 is expected to be disbursed in 2026.</div>The&nbsp;European Innovation Council's (EIC) Accelerator Programme&nbsp;aims to support innovative small companies through a funding program of up to&nbsp;EUR 2.5 million in grants, along with the possibility of strategic investments. Applications to the program are submitted under highly competitive conditions, with only&nbsp;5% of applicant companies receiving funding.EIC awarded&nbsp;Elicera Therapeutics&nbsp;the grant to support the&nbsp;clinical development of its innovative cell therapy, ELC-301. The current&nbsp;EUR 500,000 disbursement&nbsp;has been granted following the company's reported progress in the ongoing&nbsp;Phase I/IIa clinical study CARMA. The&nbsp;fourth and final payment of EUR 375,000&nbsp;is expected in&nbsp;2026."We are pleased with the continued funding provided through the European Innovation Council's Accelerator Programme.
