Elos Medtech in Skara specializes in injection molding in high-tech polymers with high quality. The company has built up a highly automated production, deep competence and an offering that more and more global medical device companies find attractive when they are looking for a manufacturing partner.The company's customers are global and operate primarily within the growing medical diagnostics market. Elos Medtech is seeing increased demand for production in clean room environment from both new and existing customers.Elos Medtech has expanded the site in Skara in various stages and the decision to enlarge the production area was a decision made in 2019. Construction is going according to plan. The site in Skara, which currently spans 3,300 m[2], will be expanded by a further 2,400 m[2].Owing to the increased demand for clean room production, the decision was made to build the entire new manufacturing area for production in a clean environment according to ISO class 8. Production start in the new production hall is planned until June 2021."We see that with production in a clean room environment, we increase our opportunities to ensure that we meet the demand from our customers in the long term, and at the same time we develop our business, offering and brand," says Mathias Andersson, Managing Director for Elos Medtech in Skara. "The clean room environment creates a more flexible and adaptable production, which meets each customer's specific needs.
