1 June 2026 - Stockholms Vattenentreprenader AB ("Sventab"), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Marcon Gruppen i Sverige AB ("Marcon") and part of the Endúr ASA
("Endúr") group, has been awarded a contract for Telge Inköp AB, on behalf of
Södertälje municipality, for the construction of the new Västra Mälarehamnen
quay in Stockholm, Sweden. The contract has a value of approximately SEK ~50
million.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new tieback-anchored sheet pile
quay with a concrete capping beam outside the existing deck quay. The existing
quay will also be renovated as part of the project. The contract is scheduled to
be carried out between August 2026 and May 2027. Sventab will execute the
project using its own organization and resources for marine works, diving
operations, and concrete works. Specialized subcontractors will be hired for
foundation works, demolition, earthworks, and surveying services.
