I recall that in the Q2 earnings call, management predicted that Q3 would still be poor, but Q4 is expected to see growth. Your figures would support that forecast.

I have been following the tracker sent by @Porkku recently and have found that the player counts match the player counts provided by casino sites (excluding the Asian market, which I haven’t examined), and that player counts have permanently risen to a higher level since mid-October. The average player count has increased by approximately 10,000 players, and in Asia, there’s a clear jump from about five thousand players to 6-7.5 thousand players. However, the stock price isn’t gaining any momentum, even though the Q4 quarter is clearly better than previous quarters (I assume shorts are keeping the price down for now). Is this now the moment to sniff out a turnaround?

The same operating model can be observed, for example, in British American Tobacco and Imperial Brands, i.e., share buybacks and capital returns, etc. Not immediately a quick-profit seeker destroying shareholder value, but rather a long-term anchor investor. I would guess some kind of merger at some point. Fattening up the pig for sale…

Catman owned 57% of Citycon. We are still far from that. Catman was up to his ears in debt and pumped money out of Koni. Dart doesn’t seem to have the same problem. As I understand it, Dart is more of a long-term owner who likes to buy companies shunned by the market/non-ESG stuff, such as tobacco and gambling companies. I view his ownership as quite neutral/leaning towards positive. It’s nice that someone representing big money likes the company.

How do co-investors perceive the situation? Are the ownership stakes already of such a magnitude that Darth is starting to become some kind of risk? I don’t know the gentleman’s history, but I’m reminded of a ‘Catman’ who destroyed Citycon and is now collecting the company cheaply into his own portfolio.
