Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement made by Fjord Defence Group
ASA ("Fjord Defence Group" or the "Company") on 27 November 2025 regarding an
agreement to acquire all outstanding shares in Scanfiber Composites A/S, a
leading specialist in ultralight ballistic protection composites for defense
applications. Scanfiber Composites A/S is pleased to announce that it has
received a significant order for Spall Liners designed for Armored Personnel
Carriers (APCs) and Scout Vehicles. The order, valued at NOK 8,85 million, has
been placed by a NATO member country, underscoring the Company's growing role in
supplying critical protective solutions to allied forces.
This contract highlights Scanfiber's expertise in developing lightweight,
high-performance composite materials that mitigate spall fragments from
ballistic impacts, significantly enhancing occupant safety without compromising
vehicle mobility. Deliveries are scheduled to commence in late summer 2026 and
will continue through autumn 2027, aligning with the customer's operational
timelines.
