Greater Than (GREAT: ST) the global provider of driver crash probability and climate impact intelligence, today announced a partnership with Stellantis Japan K.K., to optimize the user experience for Stellantis' FIAT 500e drivers while also helping the leading global automaker reinforce its commitment to safe, clean mobility. Stellantis Japan will leverage Greater Than's artificial intelligence (AI) that converts GPS data into driver scores to help FIAT 500e subscribers understand their impact on the roads while gaining new insights to help shape future services to meet evolving customer needs.
"We are passionate about clean, safe, affordable mobility and about being at the forefront of innovations that revolutionize the customer experience," said Haechang Oh, Sales Planning Specialist of Stellantis Japan. "By working with Greater Than we are helping FIAT 500e drivers gain greater control over their impact on the roads while obtaining new intelligence to ensure we continue to satisfy our customers, today and in the future."
The automotive industry is undergoing a huge transformation, moving rapidly towards the global goal of sustainable mobility. Stellantis brand FIAT is playing a significant role in the revolution with its all-electric FIAT 500e. Recognizing the important role they play in supporting customers with their appetite for change towards sustainability mobility, Stellantis Japan wanted to develop a customer-centric product for drivers to be aware of their impact on the roads.
Through FIAT Ciao Drive, drivers will be able to see their crash probability and climate impact and to understand how these are affected by their levels of focus and anticipation. An in-app leader board indicates how they compare with other FIAT 500e drivers, helping to incentivize safe, sustainable driving.
"As the pressure increases globally for everyone to consider how their own activities affect the planet, it is becoming more and more important for organizations to take the lead in developing customer-centric solutions that empower drivers with data-driven insights that really make a difference," said Johan Forseke, Head of Southeast Asia at Greater Than. "By leveraging the latest in pattern AI technology, Stellantis Japan is creating the most engaging customer experiences whilst also benefiting from powerful data-driven insights to further optimize future offerings."
Within the partnership, Greater Than's unique pattern AI technology will convert GPS driving data into crash probability and climate impact scores. The climate impact score will measure CO2 savings in grams or percentage, as well as EV battery consumption. To generate the data, Greater Than's AI compares driving patterns against a database of over 7 billion trips trained with real claims and fuel consumption.
FIAT Ciao Drive is being made available to FIAT 500e drivers in Japan at the point of subscription.
