They are slow, the charging infra doesn’t scale, AND they CONSUME electricity that AI needs. I claim that Americans will choose every single time to ensure there’s enough electricity for AI and that, for example, transport gets its energy from elsewhere – as they have done until now. The same solution is ahead for Europe at some point – we just haven’t realized it yet. Now that the excess fat has been trimmed from the company, they can reach profitability even with lower volume – but the company must find new customers and sectors on the hydrogen side. BVI operations will be consolidated into the Dallas location, and operations in Ontario and Kelowna will be phased out by March 2026.
