<div class="mfn-preamble">High Coast Whisky Special Release 2024. 11-year-old peated whisky aged in Oloroso casks.</div><div class="mfn-body">High Coast Distillery continues to develop its product portfolio and is now launching a new series of carefully selected exclusive whiskies. The Special Release will be released annually and is always age-stated. The 2024 release and the first in the series is an 11-year-old smoky whisky, initially matured in bourbon casks for over five years and then matured for the last few years in casks containing really old Oloroso sherry. These Oloroso casks were already earmarked when they were filled for an extra special bottling that now became Special Release 2024.‘When we started planning for the Special Release, many of our older casks were sampled. The selected Oloroso casks stood out and were an obvious choice for the first bottling in the series’ - Master Distiller, Roger MelanderSpecial Release 2024 will be launched on 7 June at Systembolaget in Sweden and will be available in selected countries during the year.Quick facts Special Release 2024 consists of 100% peated whisky.
