Sorry @JNivala, for replying with such a three-year delay. I just got caught up reading about this company.  Sectra does two things: Medical IT – They develop systems that help hospitals and healthcare manage imaging + data more effectively. In practice, they help doctors do their work more efficiently and treat patients better. These are important things as the population ages and the need for care grows. Cybersecurity – Sectra also does information security stuff, especially for the defense sector, healthcare, and other critical sectors. Because everything is becoming more digital, it’s essential to protect against data breaches and cyberattacks… that’s what they do. So their solutions help keep important systems secure. In short:  Sectra earns money by selling healthcare IT solutions and cybersecurity services. The revenue stream consists of software, hardware, service agreements, and ongoing license fees – these are provided especially to hospitals, defense forces, and critical infrastructure operators who need secure and efficient systems.

Hei, Päätin aloittaa Sectra AB:lle oman ketjun. Olen firmaa muutaman kerran kommentoinut kyberturvallisuusfoorumilla, mutta itse näen tämän profiloituvan ennen kaikkea lääketieteellisen kuvantamisen huippuosaajana ja koskapa firmalla näyttää menevän hyvin toivoisin kommentteja ja analyysejä Sectran tilasta ja tulevaisuudesta itseäni fiksummilta foorumislaisilta. Itse olen ollut itseltäni salaa Sectran kyydissä jo useita vuosia. Aluksi täysin älyttömäksi osoittatuneen Nordean Selecta vakuutusrahaston  kautta, johon säästin vuosituhannen vaihteessa ja joka myytiin minulle hiukan väkisin pankin tiskillä (silloin kun vielä asioitiin konttoreissa ). Tästä virheestä oli kuitenkin se hyöty, että tulin siten tutustuneeksi tarkemmin rahaston sisältämiin yhtiöihin ja mm. tähän Sectraan  Se kun rahaston vuosiraporteissa toistuvasti oli mukana aina vaan suuremalla ja suuremmalla osuudella ja myöhemmin sitä jopa ihan kehuttiin erikseen rahasto-esitteessä. Itsenäistä osaketta ostin ekan kerran pari-kolme vuotta sitten ja sitä on tullut tankattua muutaman kerran, viimeksi tämän kevään dipistä, mistä kurssi on jo lähes tuplaantunut. En ole katunut. Kun kurssi tämä vuonna läheni 1000 SEK niin se splitattiin äskettäin 5:1. Sectra on perustettu vuonna 1978 ja listattu Nasdac Stocholm 2014. En tiedä tarkalleen milloin rahasto otettiin Nordean Nordic Small Cap -rahastoon, jota minun on pakko omistaa eläkkeelle saakka.
