Here are Rauli’s comments on these property sales.  Yesterday, Kesko announced it is selling ten grocery store properties to Swedish Prisma Properties AB for a debt-free purchase price of approximately EUR 59 million. The arrangement is in line with the company’s strategy, which aims to recycle capital into new store location investments. The transaction is relatively small in Kesko’s scale, and the news does not have a material impact on our forecasts. Hannu Angervuo’s stock market tips for next year are found in the retail sector and food companies. “If the economy starts to grow, retail companies are clear beneficiaries,” Angervuo states. The trade in durable consumer goods has still been weak, and its recovery could bring moderate earnings growth for retail. Angervuo emphasizes that, for example, a large company in the sector, Kesko, is no longer cheap as a stock unless its earnings grow strongly next year.
