As the UN sustainable development goals are recognized across global industries Kährs will adopt and integrate six of the global goals into its overall business operations.

Ongoing sustainable initiatives include using more sustainable internal transportations, one company goal is to have all internal transports running on fossil-free fuel. Aligned with the goal of affordable and clean energy, the company will continue its efforts in reducing energy use and increase the amount of energy from renewable sources. Another goal is to secure sustainable sourcing of its raw materials and products.
