Kreate Group Plc’s subsidiary Kreate Sverige AB has appointed Per Anders Quist as its CEO, effective 19 October 2026. Kreate has already reached the target level set for its Swedish operations for the 2024–2027 strategy period. Quist’s appointment is intended to support the continued growth of Kreate’s business in Sweden and strengthen the company’s position in the Nordic region.
Per Anders Quist, a civil engineer who has led major infrastructure projects in Sweden and Norway, has been appointed CEO of Kreate Sverige. He will assume the position on 19 October 2026. Quist has more than 30 years of experience in infrastructure construction and in managing major road, tunnel and other infrastructure projects in Sweden and Norway. He joins Kreate from the Swedish Transport Administration, Trafikverket, where he has been responsible for billion-scale infrastructure projects.
– In Sweden, we have already reached a level that, a few years ago, we expected to achieve only in 2027. We intend to continue growing in the coming years. Per Anders’ exceptionally broad experience in infrastructure construction from both the contractor’s and the client’s perspective provides him with excellent qualifications for the role. In addition, his straightforward and determined approach is a strong fit with Kreate’s culture. We believe he is the right person to lead Kreate Sverige through its next phase of growth, says Timo Vikström, President and CEO of Kreate Group.
Quist’s experience also supports Kreate’s opportunities to establish a more permanent presence in Norway. At present, Kreate is exploring the Norwegian market and operates there on a project-by-project basis. Quist has an excellent understanding of the Norwegian infrastructure market, having spent more than ten years at NCC in several leadership positions in Norway and served as a member of the Board of Directors of NCC Norge AS.
– Kreate has built a strong foundation for growth in Sweden. I see significant opportunities to continue growing the business in Sweden, while the Norwegian market also offers interesting opportunities. I look forward to developing our operations together with our employees and customers, says Quist.
The current CEO, Kenneth Wahlqvist, has decided to pursue opportunities outside the company. Kreate thanks Wahlqvist for his contribution to the development of its Swedish operations. Until Quist assumes the position, Veli Taatila, Kreate Sverige’s first CEO, will serve as interim CEO.
