Today, Navamedic launches MyControl - a new website targeted towards both the general public &amp; healthcare professionals to raise awareness about obesity and its treatments.  This is the first step in a wave of communication as part of Navamedic's effort to increase knowledge about obesity, and to address the fact that obesity is a disease and hence should be treated as one."This is a milestone in our attempt to highlight the complexity surrounding this disease and the treatment options available. This is still an underdiagnosed area and we are committed to putting it on the agenda among Clinicians and General Practitioners, our first line of treatment personnel," says Kathrine Gamborg Andreassen, CEO of Navamedic.  The site, which highlights causes and risks as well as the benefits of a long-term weight loss, places great focus on the brain's role in developing and mastering the disease and, in addition to current treatment options, also addresses the importance of the right treatment.
