The order value is approximately SEK 400 million.</div>[image]Illustration:&nbsp;Rudanko KankkunenThis spring, NCC and the City of Rovaniemi partnered at an early stage to plan and produce construction documentation to both expand and renovate the existing school in the Nivavaara district. The parties have now signed contracts for the first phase of the project that encompass the construction of a new school building, a new sports hall and upgrading the schoolyards and the adjacent sports grounds."NCC is highly experienced in the construction of schools. When we are involved at an early stage we can add valuable knowledge throughout the construction process. Together with the City of Rovaniemi, we are now building a healthy, innovative and safe school with first-rate learning environments," says Catarina Molén Runnäs, Head of NCC Building Nordics.The new school building will be 10,600 square meters in size and will house premises for various types of operations such as school, sports, preschool and adult education. The premises will also be used by sport clubs, associations and other clubs.
