Neste produces transport fuel and renewable fuels. Today, the largest operations and extraction are held in the Nordic market, where the company is active in the entire value chain, from extraction to delivery to port depots. In addition, the opportunity is given for direct sales where customers can pick up fuel at selected stations. The largest market is in the Nordic region, and the company is headquartered in Espoo, Finland.

Singaporen jalostamon SAF on mahdollista saada ostajia Aasiasta mutta HVO ei taida olla ostajia koska omaa biodiesel tuotantoa on niin paljon koska palmuöljy ja aikaisemmat biodieselit(FAME/UCOME) sopivat hyvin koska lämmin ilmasto. Lisäksi taitaa vielä olla niin että vaikka kuskaisi tuotteet eurooppaan niin silti marginaalia jää mutta se ei ole varmasti Nesteen tavoite joten saa nähdä miten tuon USA kanssa käy.

Tässä vielä virallinen ilmoitus ja taulukko voluumeista: Proposed Renewable Fuel Standards for 2026 and 2027 | US EPA    Tämä ensivaikutelma tuli lähinnä siitä, että Nesteen Singaporen laitos, jonka tuotanto suunniteltiin ja tarkoitettiin jenkkimarkkinoille, on nyt sieltä aika hyvin rakenteellisesti blokattu ulos. Ulkomainen tuotanto ei saa jatkossa 45Z tukea eikä RIN-todenteidenkaan täyttä arvoa. Toki se ei ole niin suuri ongelma, jos Singaporen tavaralle löytyy muualta ottajia. Mainisemasi monet muut kerrannaisvaikutukset ja vaikutukset globaaleihin raaka-ainevirtoihin voivat toki keikuttaa laivaa moneen suuntaan vielä. Joka tapauksessa puhtaasti paikallisille tuottajille tämä on riemuvoitto, mutta Neste jää ainakin toinen jalka pahasti karkeloiden ulkopuolelle.

Nopealla katsannalla en kyllä saa mitenkään tästä Nesteelle “hyvin negatiivista” Jenkeissä kiintiöt nousee reilusti, mikä tukee Martinezia ja tarkoittaa että jenkkituottajat eivät ole vähään aikaan viemässä mihinkään. Eli erityisesti Eurooppaan on hyvin vähän tarjontaa Jenkeistä. Samaan aikaan raaka-ainevienti jenkkeihin vähenee kun myös tuontifeedstockin RINejä leikataan, mikä on Singaporen raaka-ainehankinnalle todella hyvä. Nämä yhdessä tukevat Singaporen tuotantoa ja marginaaleja Eurooppaan myytävälle tavaralle, sekä positiivista indikaatiota Rotterdamin volyymien ylösajolle. Tosin siihen mennessä moni asia ehtii muuttumaan.

HÄLYTYS!!!    EPA on julkaissut ehdotuksensa Yhdysvaltojen biopolttoaineiden jakeluvelvoitteen nostamiseksi. Biomassapohjaisten polttoaineiden kiintiötä nostetaan 5,6 miljardiin gallonaan, mikä vastaa 67 % korotusta tästä vuodesta. Korotus on jopa suurempi kuin mitä biopolttoaineteollisuus pyysi, MUTTA biopolttoainetodenteiden eli RIN:ien hintoja leikataan 50 % ulkomailta tuoduille biopolttoaineille. Ensireaktio on, että tämä on hyvin negatiivista Nesteelle. Kokonaismandaatti (ml. pääasiassa etanoli) jäi hieman teollisuuden toivomasta. Luulen että tämän hallinnon alla muutoksen positiivisuus nimenomaan Nesteen kannalta riippuu täysin siitä millaiset kyvyt sillä on hankkia raaka-aineita domestisesti ja mihin hintaan. Nykyhallinnolla on insentiivi tukea maataloussektoria, joten politiikka voi olla hyvinkin tukevaa, mutta kohdistunee nimenomaan kotimaisiin raaka-aineisiin. Ilmeisesti mandaatti on kuitenkin alittamassa jalostajien ehdotukset, mutta ne olivatkin överisuuret (5.25BG, sen ollessa 3.35BG tänä vuonna). Jenkkifirmat ovat muuten palauttaneet shorttejaan Nesteeseen. Saattaa kuitenkin olla virhe jos kahiseva kansa innostuu kansanosakkeestaan sen rikottualaskutrendi ensimmäistä kertaa tällä viikolla.
