New medals awarded to High Coast Distillery in London

Once again, High Coast Distillery's whisky wins medals in the World Whiskies Awards

This week, the World Whiskies Awards were held in London. High Coast Distillery won two categories and was awarded six medals in total.

-The fact that our distillery in northern Sweden is awarded medals year after year feels very good and is proof that we produce whisky that is appreciated by connoisseurs, both consumers and jurors,’ -says Roger Melander, Master Distiller.

The World Whiskies Awards is one of the most respected competitions in the industry and the jury consists of whisky connoisseurs from all over the world.

During the World Whiskies Awards 2024, the following bottlings won awards:

About Us
The whisky from High Coast Distillery under the High Coast Whisky brand has been available since 2014. The Origins series with Berg, Älv, Timmer and Hav is already a big sellers among the premium brands. At the production and visitor facility in Bjärtrå, Sweden, whisky is produced seven days a week and more than 17,000 casks are maturing in the warehouses. High Coast Whisky is currently sold in about ten countries. The company's shares are traded on Nasdaq First North Growth Market. Turnover is about SEK 60 million excluding alcohol tax and the business employs about 25 people.
