New Swedish rules open for share buybacks by MTF-listed companies such as H100

From 5 December 2026, Swedish public limited companies whose shares are admitted to trading on a multilateral trading facility (MTF) may repurchase and hold their own shares. The rules were adopted by the Riksdag on 20 May 2026 and extend to MTF-listed companies a possibility that until now has been reserved for companies on a regulated market.

The change applies to the Swedish growth markets, including NGM Nordic SME, where the shares of H100 Group AB ("H100" or the "Company") are admitted to trading.

Comment from the CEO
“This is good news for the Swedish growth markets, and not least for H100,” says Eirik Grøttum, CEO of H100. “Buybacks are an important tool for listed companies, and I am very pleased that companies on the MTFs will now have access to the same toolbox as those on the main markets. For us, buybacks will be one of several capital allocation options, particularly when the stock is trading below NAV. Any use of this tool would, of course, require approval from both the shareholders and the Board.”

No decision taken
H100 has not resolved on any repurchase of own shares. Any repurchase would be conditional upon an authorisation from the general meeting and a resolution by the board of directors, and would be announced in accordance with applicable rules.
