Nolato has signed an agreement to acquire Irish M&M Qualtech. The company, which has annual sales of approximately SEK 385 million and an EBITA margin in line with Nolato’s, strengthens Nolato’s strategic position by adding scalable capacity in the electronics field for market segments such as medical, industrial and defense.

“For nearly four decades, M&M Qualtech has delivered business-critical solutions that have enabled its customers to produce new technological solutions efficiently. Together with M&M Qualtech, Nolato’s offering and ability to deliver complete product solutions to a common and larger customer base is strengthened,” comments Nolato’s new President and CEO Anders Björklund.

M&M Qualtech was founded in 1988 and is estimated to have sales of around SEK 385 million for 2026 with healthy profitability. The company, which is based in Galway, Ireland, has 200 employees. The acquisition is financed through own cash funds and existing credit facilities. The operations is expected to be consolidated into Nolato as of September. The company will operate under the name Nolato Qualtech and will be headed by the current management.

“Acquisitions are, and have long been, a natural part of Nolato’s growth strategy and we are continually working to acquire additional operations that fit our growth strategy and strengthen our overall customer offering. Nolato has a healthy financial position, which provides considerable flexibility to make significant acquisitions if there is an opportunity to increase shareholder value in both the short and long term,” comments Nolato’s President and CEO Anders Björklund.
