Sandvika, 18 September (OSE: NORCO): Norconsult Norge AS (Norconsult) has been
awarded an exclusive framework agreement with the Norwegian Defence Estates
Agency (Forsvarsbygg) covering project implementation of Flåteplan 2024,
Haakonsvern Naval Base located close to Bergen. Norconsult, along with its
subsidiary Nordic Office of Architecture, will collaborate with TYPSA, a
consulting and engineering services firm, on the project.
Forsvarsbygg is a government administrative agency under the Ministry of
Defence. The agency develops, builds, operates and divests real estate for the
defence sector.

Forsvarsbygg, which grants the agency access to specialised expertise and
resources for managing complex tasks related to the important upgrade of
Haakonsvern in the coming years. Norconsult and Nordic Office of Architecture
are well-positioned to address the anticipated increase in activity within the
Norwegian defence sector. As a community builder, Norconsult has a clear
responsibility to contribute to the enhancement of Norway's defence
capabilities," states Egil Hogna, CEO of Norconsult.
It is estimated that the project will start during 2025 and continue until 2034.
The estimated value of the contract is NOK 200 million in addition to options
valued at approximately NOK 600 million.
The awarding of the contracts to Norconsult is subject to a standstill period
that expires on 29 September.
