Nordrest enters the Finnish market

Nordrest

Nordrest enters Finland through the acquisition of Garam & Vermiglio Catering Oy
Nordrest, one of Sweden's leading food service operators, enters the Finnish market by acquiring 100% of the shares in Garam & Vermiglio Catering Oy. This strategic initiative marks the start of Nordrest's presence in Finland.

Garam & Vermiglio Catering Oy is a Finnish market player with an annual turnover of SEK 30 million and currently operates restaurants for property owners and public organisations with a focus on the Helsinki region.

The acquisition creates a platform for Nordrest to expand its operations and offer decent food services also in Finland.
‘This is an important milestone for Nordrest. Establishing ourselves in Finland has long been part of our Nordic growth strategy, and we are proud to do so together with Garam & Vermiglio. We look forward to combining our strengths and continuing to deliver better dining experiences also in Finland,’ says Thomas Dahlstedt, CEO Nordrest.

The transaction is financed with equity and will be finalised at year-end.
