NSKOG: New Managing Director at Norske Skog Skogn AS

Norske Skog ASA announces that Mads Eikeland has been appointed Managing
Director of Norske Skog Skogn AS, effective 1 September 2026.

Eikeland currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Norske Skog Skogn AS, a
position he has held since 2022, following his previous role as Finance Manager
at the same mill. He therefore brings extensive experience from the business and
strong insight into both operations and the organisation. During his time with
the company, Eikeland has demonstrated strong professional competence and solid
leadership skills, delivering documented results in close collaboration with the
organisation.

"It is important for Norske Skog to develop internal leaders and give talented
employees the opportunity to take on greater responsibility. Mads Eikeland has
built solid experience and commands strong respect within the organisation. I am
confident that he is the right person to lead Norske Skog Skogn forward," says
Geir Drangsland, CEO of Norske Skog.

Eikeland.

Mads has a strong academic background, holding a Master's degree in financial
economics and a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing from the Norwegian
School of Economics (NHH), as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics and
Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School. He has previous
experience as an auditor, consultant, and finance manager, among others from
Deloitte and KPMG.

Norske Skog is a producer of packaging paper and publication paper across four
mills in Europe. Packaging paper includes testliner and fluting and publication
paper includes newsprint and magazine paper. The annual production capacity of
packaging paper is 0.8 million tonnes, and the annual production capacity of
publication paper is 1.2 million tonnes. Packaging paper and publication paper
are sold through sales offices and agents. Norske Skog has approximately 1 650
employees and the parent company, Norske Skog ASA, a public limited liability
company, is incorporated in Norway and has its head office in Oslo. The company
is listed on Oslo Stock Exchange with the ticker NSKOG.
