Market expectations for earnings don’t seem too high this time. Before the financial institution’s sale, however, the share price fell below 4 SEK. Hopefully, we’ll get some positive information from Bidbrain, because as stated, Bidbrain holds the greatest opportunities for Speqta’s future success. Of course, Bidbrain’s weight in the Q3 results is still small.

The Q3 report on Thursday will be interesting. They probably wouldn’t have sold Rahalaitos yet if BidBrain hadn’t gotten off to a good start?

Speqtan Q3 report and webcast on 11.11. Interesting to see how bidbrain has progressed. In the August presentation, they had only taken on a handful of clients because the service was still in the ramp-up phase. The driver for bidbrain is Google’s announcement to block third-party cookies by the end of this year. However, there are many competitors.

Could you elaborate a bit on what “moderately priced” means to you here? I do have my own view on valuation and I don’t necessarily consider the reaction wrong. Speqta is not particularly expensive, but it doesn’t have any major drivers to rise high either. What’s happening now is that the C&C (Click & Collect) cornerstone is carrying a (low) valuation, but the wings are missing. It must be remembered that this, measured on an adjusted earnings basis, is quite expensive (or was) and only looks cheap due to accounting profits that arose from the unpaid additional purchase price in Q2 of last year, if I recall correctly.

What are others’ thoughts on the Q1 report? Q1 EBITDA was SEK 7.6M, while Redeye predicted SEK 4.3M, so a clear beat there. Revenue was SEK 42.8M, which was somewhat below forecasts (Redeye SEK 43.4M). The market reaction is devastating, down -17% at the moment, but in my opinion, the numbers are quite okay, and even at the current valuation, the company is priced quite modestly.
