<div class="abstract">Rejlers Norway has been commissioned to assist Implenia with electrical and automation design work when the country's longest railway bridge is to be built over Tangenvika. Implenia is the main contractor for the BaneNor project in Stange municipality.</div>The railway bridge will be slightly more than one kilometre in length and high demands have been placed on the environment and sustainability to ensure the least possible impact on the environment in and around Mjøsa. The project will be environmentally certified according to BREEAM Infrastructure by Norconsult, which is the main consultant. Rejlers Norway will plan the electrical and automation facilities in the deck and shipping lane below. The detailed design to be carried out will be performed on a model basis."We are delighted to have been selected to provide our services and advice in connection with the construction of the longest railway bridge in Norway. We will work together with Implenia and Norconsult to ensure that this project is a true success that delivers more eco-friendly freight traffic and reduces travel time between Oslo and Hamar.
