Press release

SBB sells to tenant owned association for SEK 210 million

Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden

Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”) has divested the properties Stockholm Barlasten 6 and 8 to a tenant owned association. The properties were SBB’s last wholly owned residential assets following the ongoing transaction with Sveafastigheter and KlaraBo, and were not included in that transaction as the conversion process was ongoing.

The properties were unencumbered and provide SBB with SEK 180 million in liquidity immediately and a further SEK 30 million as additional tenants become owners. The lettable area is 5,194 sqm and generates an annual net operating income of SEK 5.3 million. The property value of SEK 210 million exceeds the latest external valuation by 2 percent.

"Since May 2025, SBB and Sveafastigheter have completed residential sales amounting to SEK 2 billion. This shows that there is a strong market for attractive residential assets. The trend is that the market is gradually improving," says Leiv Synnes, CEO.

Completion of the transaction with the tenant owned association took place on 3 June 2026.
