SCA is a Swedish company active in the forest industry, wood and paper production, as well as renewable energy and biofuels. The company processes raw materials from forests into products such as wood products, pulp, paper and bioenergy. The company also offers services to forest owners. SCA operates in markets globally, through exports and partnerships. The company was founded in 1929 and is headquartered in Sundsvall, Sweden.

SCA Q2/2025 is out, and SCA published quite acceptable figures. Compared to Finnish forest companies, SCA is interesting because the company has completely ceased the production of printing papers. In addition, SCA is involved in SAF fuels together with ST1. Onko mitään uutta Ruotsin celluosastolla?  Siis Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA…

SCA:n kurssi on 115 kruunun paikkeilla. Nordea arvioi SCA:n yli kaksi miljoonaa hehtaaria kattavan metsävarannon osakekohtaiseksi arvoksi 99 kruunua eli noin 86 % osakkeen arvosta, joten varsinaiselle liiketoiminnalle tuntuisi olevan edelleen hieman nousupotentiaalia, vaikka osake onkin selviytynyt paljon keskimääräistä paremmin koronamyrskyssä. Oman pääoman tuotossa SCA:lla on paljon petrattavaa.

Saisinko vielä vertailun Norske Skogiin, kiitos. Näkökulmat saat valita, mutta niin tekisit muutenkin.  Joo täällä huudellaan huomioimatta välimatkaa ja aikaa.

SCA -alueen otsikosta: Eikös SCA yhtiöittänyt nimenomaan pehmopaperiliiketoimintansa (Essity) ja nyt harjoittaa liiketoimintaa pelkästään muilla paper & sellu alueilla.
