Indeed. As long as production can be brought to a steady level with the “new-old” contractor, this would be the most important goal. 1.4 million ounces per year is more than enough at this silver price.

The annual silver production target was lowered in the update published today. At current prices, it’s not even worth trying to chase higher-grade ore; instead, extraction should be maximized on the assumption that the ore currently being mined is the same grade as before. If we start digging a new tunnel, we’ll quickly be back in a situation where the bedrock is unstable and interruptions occur.

Amateurs waiting until the last day of the month to publish the drill results? This shows the standard again, stretching it out into the holidays. Or will there even be an announcement at all?

Pressure in the physical silver market is starting to be strong, and the price shows it. I would almost dare to say that at least in Q1 and Q2 of next year, we will be closer to $70/oz than $50/oz for silver. If the results are still the same as now, I certainly don’t see any future for the company if it can’t achieve results at these prices.

The contractor is not replaced by the previous one shutting down machines on 31.12. and the new one starting theirs on 1.1. Preparations have already been underway for quite some time. The smartest thing in this situation would be to smoothly pass the baton so that the resources of both contractors can be utilized and tacit knowledge exchanged peacefully. I do wonder why SoSi didn’t warn already in the last earnings report, when even a layman could clearly see that Q4 wouldn’t be able to mine such quantities to reach the full year target. The price of silver has doubled in a year, but SoSi is still sleeping a Sleeping Beauty’s sleep. I wonder if it will start rising properly soon. The potential is there for it.

TJ has already issued 3 profit warnings this year and always claimed things are back on track, only for them not to be, due to “external reasons.” They haven’t found a mirror yet, nor the buy button for their own company’s shares. The same pattern will likely repeat with the contractor change; everything is supposedly well-planned, and there won’t be any significant disruptions.
