According to my calculations, Nieminen is missing 3463 shares, so a 10% flagging notification could arrive in the very next few days.

Nieminen has increased his position significantly, as have Osuus asunnot Oy and 4Capes Oy, Nordea Bank, and Mikko Laakkonen. Kakkonen yhtiöt has also added slightly.

I wasn’t at the meeting. It would be interesting to know if Nieminen or his representative made any critical remarks during the AGM. So far, Nieminen hasn’t publicly opposed the takeover bid, I think(?). Usually, these major shareholders conduct their discussions behind the scenes.

Was there anything interesting at the Annual General Meeting that didn’t come across in the official release?

Ownership stakes verified from Euroclear today:     Shareholder Shares Stake     SEB 1,333,874 5.84 %   Nieminen Jorma 1,225,941 5.37 %   Joensuun Kauppa Ja Kone Oy 853,305 3.74 %   Osuusasunnot Oy 654,074 2.86 %   4capes Oy 400,000 1.75 %   Laakkonen Mikko Kalervo 226,543 0.99 %    Nieminen thus controls a total of 9.98% of the shares, making him the company’s third-largest owner but without board responsibility. The meeting starting in 20 minutes could be interesting.

I don’t know about good, bad, or anything else, but at least the consortium apparently still has an appetite to buy. On the other hand, no competing buyers have appeared, so perhaps the outfit doesn’t interest anyone else.

Is this extension a good or a bad thing now?  I can’t quite keep track of what’s going on with this case…
