UNIBAP AND SAAB EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES SIGN A LONG-TERM COOPERATION AGREEMENT

Unibap AB (publ) and Saab Emerging Technologies AB have signed a long-term cooperation agreement for joint data driven business development. The companies have identified several commercial opportunities both nationally and internationally to pursue under the cooperation. The companies will also develop a joint plan for product and service offerings.

The agreement covers products, services and solutions based on Unibap SpaceCloud, a solution for edge cloud services, artificial intelligence, data storage and communication in space and Saab Emerging Technologies' smart software for automatic information analysis.

The collaboration is entered into after the companies have jointly evaluated the results of using Saab Emerging Technologies' information analysis software in combination with Unibap's SpaceCloud products. In 2022, the companies plan to demonstrate common capabilities and services in space on existing SpaceCloud satellites to demonstrate fast and refined customer geospatial intelligence and space domain awareness.

- The collaboration with Saab Emerging Technologies gives us a strong long-term partner with a global presence in important markets. Together, we have a unique strength and opportunity to create capabilities from software and deliver a fast situational awareness or geospatial intelligence, something for which there is a great demand, says Lena W Jansson, CEO of Unibap

Saab Emerging Technologies is a newly started subsidiary of Saab with a focus on data-driven capability development, where the sources of information span all domains - air, land, sea and space.
