Valuno focuses operations on Atlas and launches new website

Valuno Group AB (publ) clarifies its strategic direction around Atlas, the company’s transaction and orchestration platform for cross-border payments. Atlas connects traditional payment infrastructure with stablecoins and blockchain-based settlement. Valuno is concentrating its resources on the area where the company sees the greatest commercial potential: infrastructure for stablecoin-based B2B payments. The company’s existing services, including the consumer app and banking platform, remain in place.

Atlas (Advanced Transaction Ledger for Asset Settlement) has been used for stablecoin-based payments and settlement since the pilot launch of Valuno’s corporate wallet service in spring 2024 and is currently used, among other things, within the framework of the previously communicated agreement with
Paysecure. The platform combines the corporate wallet and technology from Valuno’s banking platform with traditional payment and banking infrastructure. Atlas is designed to orchestrate payments across different payment networks, stablecoins and settlement methods. It can select payment routes based on factors such as cost, speed, liquidity and regulatory requirements, providing access to both traditional payment rails and blockchain-based settlement through a single integration.

The strategic focus comes as the global payments market undergoes significant change. Regulatory frameworks including MiCA in the EU and the GENIUS Act in the US have created clearer conditions for stablecoins, while financial institutions and companies are increasingly exploring their use for cross-border payments and settlement. Valuno sees this development as creating significant opportunities for infrastructure connecting traditional and blockchain-based payment systems.

As part of the strategic focus, Valuno is launching a new website centred on Atlas and B2B solutions for cross-border payments. Atlas primarily targets companies, banks, payment institutions, fintech companies and other financial actors with international payment, liquidity and settlement requirements. The consumer app and banking platform remain in place to support existing customers and collaborations. Technology from the banking platform is also integrated into Atlas.

“Atlas brings traditional payment infrastructure, stablecoins and blockchain-based settlement together in one platform, with the potential to make cross-border payments faster and liquidity more efficient. We see significant potential and are therefore concentrating our resources on Atlas,” says Peter Liljeroos, CEO of Valuno Group AB (publ).

“Clearer regulation in the EU and the US is creating new opportunities for stablecoins as payment and settlement infrastructure. Our ambition is to establish Atlas as a natural choice for companies and financial institutions operating across traditional and blockchain-based payment systems,” continues Peter Liljeroos.
