Veidekke has been commissioned by Solon Eiendom and Kolberg Gruppen to construct
180 apartments with an underground parking garage in the residential project
Lenschows at Ensjø in Oslo. The contract is a design and build agreement valued
at NOK 660 million excluding VAT.
"We appreciate the trust that Solon and Kolberg have placed in us with this
project. It has been a demanding, yet highly rewarding development phase, where
the client has maintained a strong focus on quality throughout the entire
process, both in terms of residential standards and architectural expression. We
have established a solid project structure, and we are very pleased to start
construction of what will most certainly become one of the finest residential
developments at Ensjø," says Kaare Gilhus, Head of department at Veidekke Bygg
Oslo.
The Lenschows project consists of three buildings with a total of 180
apartments, ranging from space-efficient one-bedroom units of 35 sqm to spacious
three-bedroom family apartments of up to 115 sqm. The development has been
designed with a strong emphasis on high-quality outdoor areas, green features,
and architecture inspired by the area's historical brickworks tradition. The
apartments will offer well-designed layouts, private outdoor spaces, and
excellent sunlight conditions. The surrounding area includes shops, schools,
kindergartens, and green parks, and Oslo city centre is just a few minutes away
by metro.
"Lenschows has achieved strong sales momentum in a challenging market, and 85
units have been sold to date. Earlier this year, the project set a new price
record at Ensjø when one of the penthouses was sold, and we are experiencing
increasing interest in the larger and more premium apartments. This confirms
that buyers recognise the value of both the location and the quality of the
project. We are very pleased with the market response and look forward to
realising the development," says Kjetil Skånhaug, Project Director at Solon
Eiendom.
Demolition works are already underway, while construction is scheduled to
commence after the summer, with completion planned for autumn 2028. Read more

The contract is included in Veidekke's order book for Q2 2026.
