ViroGates announces CFO Mark da Silva to step down during Q1 2023

BIRKERØD, DENMARK – ViroGates A/S, a medical technology company developing blood tests for better triaging in hospitals to improve patient care and reduce healthcare costs, announces that Chief Financial Officer, Mark Christian Hvidberg da Silva, is stepping down from his position at ViroGates A/S to pursue new opportunities outside the organization during Q1 2023.
May Britt Dyvelkov, VP Accounting, and Jakob Knudsen, CEO, will manage the CFO tasks until a replacement has been found.
Jakob Knudsen, CEO of ViroGates, says: “I am sorry that Mark has decided to leave ViroGates. Mark has played a tremendous role in the professionalisation of the entire organisation and has contributed widely beyond the traditional CFO roles and also in projects within our sales organisation and our R&D. I appreciate that Mark will want to use his commercial skills now in a bigger organisation. We will immediately start to look for a replacement for Mark.”
