Max Lagerstedt will assume the role of CEO of S:t Eriks Group on 15 June 2026 and will join Volati’s executive team. Max has a background from senior positions in the building materials and industrial sectors, including at Bergman & Beving and Lantmännen, and most recently served as CEO of Hubexo Holdings (now Marknadsdatagruppen). He has extensive experience of both organic and acquisition-driven growth in an international environment, as well as a strong track record of developing companies both commercially and operationally.
Upon Max Lagerstedt's appointment, Magnus Ström will step down as CEO. Magnus has played a key role in navigating S:t Eriks Group through a prolonged downturn in the construction market. Under his leadership, the company has implemented extensive measures to align costs with prevailing market conditions and has begun transitioning sales and production towards more profitable segments. The handover comes at a point where the conditions are right for a new CEO to take over.
”We are pleased to welcome Max Lagerstedt as the new CEO. We look forward to taking the next step in S:t Eriks Group's development under his leadership. We also want to extend our sincere gratitude to Magnus Ström, who has done solid work during one of the company's most challenging periods. We are truly grateful and wish him all the best going forward,” says Andreas Stenbäck, CEO of Volati.
