WindowMaster International A/S wins order for natural smoke ventilation in large residential development in Herlev

WindowMaster International A/S has won an order to supply natural smoke ventilation (ABV) for a new mixed-use development in Herlev, Greater Copenhagen.

The project totals approximately 28,000 m² and comprises 300 residential units with commercial premises on the ground floor, in buildings ranging from four to nine stories.

WindowMaster will deliver the EN12101-2 smoke ventilation solution for five heated airlocks and will supply 37 Fieger louvre windows to the façade contractor. The solution complies with the project’s fire strategy and keeps escape routes safe in a fire.

 

As residential buildings get taller and more complex, fire safety rules are getting stricter. Developers and contractors therefore need partners who can deliver complete, documented solutions that meet the building’s fire strategy and gain approval from the authorities. WindowMaster combines products, control systems, project management and certification in one solution. This makes compliance easier for customers and gives building users a safe environment every day. 

 

The project confirms WindowMaster’s strong position in natural smoke ventilation for large residential developments in Denmark.

 

Completion is expected by the end of 2029.
