The project’s value is approximately 7 million euros. Construction started in November 2025 and the property is scheduled for completion in November 2026. The apartment building, located in the Kerttula area of Raisio, has a residential area of nearly 2,000 square meters. The apartments in Raision Taimi range from 36.5 to 81.5 square meters, and one can choose from various floor plans, from two-room apartments to four-room apartments. Bright landscape windows offer views of the surrounding nature, bringing nature into everyday life. The apartments are flexibly designed to meet various life situations and needs. Over the past year, YIT has commenced construction of a total of 441 new YIT Homes in 10 housing companies in Finland, including Asunto Oy Raision Taimi.

Here are Ate’s comments on YIT’s massive project in Turku.   YIT announced on Friday that it had signed implementation agreements with the City of Turku for the Kupittaa kärki partnership project. The total value of the project for YIT is approximately EUR 150 million, and construction will begin as early as the start of 2026. The project is significant in scale and supports our forecast of strong revenue development in the company’s contracting segments in the coming years. The building can be handed over to the City of Helsinki already at the end of September 2026, meaning the city will get access to the new premises potentially more than 400 days earlier than planned. A renovated access route to the metro station and Kamppi shopping centre will be opened through the new building.  The Health and Wellbeing Centre will open in spring 2027, once the city has prepared the premises to receive staff and customers.

The project begins with a development phase and will be implemented as a collaborative project management contract. The estimated total value of the construction contract for YIT, aiming for the implementation phase after the development phase, is approximately 87 million euros. The value of the contract will be specified during the development phase. The development phase will commence in November 2025 and is estimated to last until August 2026. At the end of the development phase, a decision will be made on proceeding to the implementation phase, which will last approximately three years.
