The company entered 2026 with upward-trending guidance, and we do not believe that recent geopolitical uncertainty will significantly affect the outlook. Almanakka has written about Vaisala after Q4.   Vaisala is performing just as I expected. Industrial Measurements is hitting new records with strong order volumes, but Weather and Environmental is really struggling. Unfortunately, these two balance each other out so well that it’s hard to get truly excited about Vaisala, but there’s no need to be worried either. Earnings expectations for the current year are supported in particular by the strong demand outlook in industry and successful adjustment measures in the Weather and Environmental business area (W&E). In our view, the stock’s valuation has dropped to an exceptionally attractive level for a global market leader in observation technology. We upgrade our recommendation to Buy (prev. Accumulate) and reiterate our target price of EUR 51. Quotes from the report: Orders turned to growth Order intake grew by 5% (10% currency-adjusted). Industrial Measurements’ orders grew by as much as 21% currency-adjusted. In W&E, order intake grew by 2% currency-adjusted, and the company reported that the market took steps toward more stable demand in Q4, which is a positive signal following previous quarters of weak demand. The order backlog at the end of 2025 was 14% lower compared to the exceptionally strong comparison period. However, this figure mainly relates to W&E, as Industrial Measurements’ orders are delivered quickly, which is why the business’s order backlog is always low relative to annual revenue. Here are Pauli’s quick comments on Vaisala’s results from this morning.  Vaisala reported its Q4 results today. Key figures were in line with expectations, and the company’s guidance for 2026 was also upward-trending as expected. We view the report as fairly neutral, and it may partly alleviate the greatest uncertainties regarding the outlook, given the recent sluggish share price performance.
