MPC Energy Solutions - Introduction to the investment case

Together with CFO Stefan H. A. Meichsner from MPC Energy Solutions – the renewable energy provider - we today went through the investment case.

Besides a short overview of financials and the company’s portfolio, we mainly focused on the two main pillars of the investment case:

1) Why invest in solar, and the advantages that you get as an investor by taking on the extra risk of developing and running assets outside the developed part of the world by focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean region.

2) What could close the discount of around 60% when comparing the share price today with the current Net Asset Value (NAV) of the company calculated on the basis of projects constructed and under construction, the value of PPA's, and cash.

MPC Energy Solutions (MPCES) develops, builds, owns, and operates renewable energy assets, including utility-scale solar photovoltaics (PV) and onshore wind farms, as well as combined-heat-and-power (CHP) installations, energy efficiency solutions, and hybrid projects, combining renewable sources and storage technologies. The projects are primarily situated in Latin America and the Caribbean region. The company currently operates a portfolio of 53 MW (proportionate). Its development pipeline includes projects with a capacity of nearly 420 MW (proportionate).
