(Oslo, 21 January 2022) HYON AS (HYON), the provider of zero-emission maritime hydrogen bunkering solutions, whose majority owners include Nel ASA, Norwegian Hydrogen AS and Saga Pure ASA, announces the successful completion of a private placement of NOK 50 million, valuing the company at NOK 130 million. The company has an intention to have its shares shortly admitted to trading on Euronext Growth.

(Oslo, 25 November 2021) Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser AS, a division of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE: NEL), has received a purchase order for a 20MW alkaline water electrolyser from Ovako, a leading European manufacturer of engineering steel. The electrolyser will be installed at Ovako's existing plant in Hofors, Sweden, the first plant in the world to use hydrogen to heat steel prior to rolling and hot forming. The fossil-free hydrogen will replace the use of fossil propane gas currently used in heating furnaces at the site.

(Oslo, 26 October 2021) Reference is made to the stock market announcement on 22 October 2021 regarding the issuance of shares in Nel ASA. The share capital increase pertaining to the issuance of the 200,800 new shares has now been registered with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. The Company's new registered share capital is 292,159,857.60, divided into 1,460,799,288 shares, each with a par value of NOK 0.20.

(Oslo, 25 October 2021) Nel Hydrogen US, a subsidiary of Nel ASA (Nel, OSE:NEL), has received a contract for PEM electrolyzer equipment from a leading global fuel cell company.

Nel Hydrogen US has received a purchase order for PEM electrolyzer equipment from an undisclosed, leading stationary fuel cell OEM. The purchase order has a value of approximately USD 2.6 million, and the equipment will be delivered between 2022 and 2024. Nel will also be providing design consulting services as part of the project.

(Oslo, 22 October 2021) Nel ASA (the Company) today has resolved, in accordance with the authorization granted by the general meeting on 15 April 2021, to issue 200,800 new shares to fulfil the Company's obligations in the groupwide share option program comprising all employees in Nel fulfilling certain criteria, specified in the Company's annual report (note 6), thereby increasing the Company's share capital by NOK 40,160.

(Oslo, 21 October 2021) Nel ASA (Nel) reported all-time high revenues of NOK 229.3 million in the third quarter of 2021, up 55% from NOK 147.7 million in the same quarter of 2020 and an EBITDA of negative NOK 113 million (Q3 2020: -42.1) incl. one-offs and ramp-up cost. This includes costs relating to the ramp-up at the new Herøya facility, which will commence production for Nikola and Everfuel in the fourth quarter. The order backlog ended at NOK 1 014 million, up 8% from same quarter last year.
