Reports are published at 7.30am CET/CEST on the release date unless otherwise announced.

The Annual Report for 2021 will be published no later than week 11.

Volvo Group julkistaa ensimmäisenä maailmassa SSAB:n fossiilivapaasta teräksestä valmistetun ajoneuvon. Kaivos- ja louhosteollisuudessa käytettävä maansiirtokone esitellään tänään Göteborgissa järjestettävässä Volvon yhteistyötapahtumassa.

Lisää SSAB:n fossiilivapaata terästä sisältäviä ajoneuvoja ja koneita on luvassa vuonna 2022 osana autokonsernin konseptiajoneuvojen ja -komponenttien sarjaa.

In a world-first, Volvo Group reveals the first vehicle made of fossil-free steel produced by SSAB. The machine, a load carrier for use in mining and quarrying, is being unveiled at a Volvo collaboration event today in Gothenburg.

More vehicles and machines will follow in 2022 in a series of concept vehicles and components using fossil-free steel from SSAB.

SSAB invites you to a presentation of the report for the third quarter of 2021 at 9.30am CEST on Monday, October 25, 2021. The report will be published at approximately 7.30am CEST on the same date.

The report for the third quarter of 2021 will be presented by SSAB's President and CEO Martin Lindqvist, and CFO Håkan Folin.

The press conference will be held in English and live webcast on SSAB's website www.ssab.com. You can also participate in the briefing by telephone.

Leena Craelius has been appointed acting CFO at SSAB. She has long experience of the steel industry and has held several senior positions at SSAB. She will take up her new position on November 1, 2021.

Leena Craelius is currently vice president of Finance, Controlling and IT at SSAB Europe. She has held several senior positions within Finance and Controlling at SSAB. She joined Rautaruukki in 2005 and has also worked for SSAB Special Steels.

SSAB will display its plan for fossil-free steelmaking at Expo 2020 in Dubai, as well as highlight the importance of fossil-free value chains as a solution to the climate crisis. A green transition is necessary to tackle climate change, it is also the best business plan, strengthens competitiveness and builds prosperity.

SSAB esittelee suunnitelmansa fossiilivapaan teräksen valmistuksesta Dubain Expo 2020 -näyttelyssä ja korostaa fossiilivapaiden arvoketjujen merkitystä ratkaisuna ilmastonmuutoksen hidastamisessa. Vihreä siirtymä on välttämätön ilmastonmuutoksen torjumiseksi, se on paras liiketoimintasuunnitelma, vahvistaa kilpailukykyä ja rakentaa vaurautta.

The shareholders of SSAB AB (publ) (company registration number 556016-3429) are hereby given notice to attend the Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021. Due to the risk of continued spread of infection, the Board of Directors has decided that the Extraordinary General Meeting will be held without the physical presence of shareholders, representatives or third parties, and that the shareholders will only be able to exercise their voting rights in advance through so-called postal voting ahead of the meeting.

In consequence of the ownership changes in SSAB during May and June this year, Bengt Kjell, chairman of the Board of Directors (Board), has today informed the Board that he wishes to resign from the Board at the earliest convenience.

The Board has been further informed that SSAB's Nomination Committee, having been informed of Bengt Kjell's intention, has prepared the matter and decided to propose Lennart Evrell, who is currently a Board member, as the new chairman and that the number of Board members be reduced to seven (instead of eight as at present).
