Oslo, Norway - 15 December 2025
Fjord Defence Group ASA (the "Company"), through its subsidiary Fjord Defence
AS, has completed and received approval for a new lightweight tripod with weapon
mount in a development project with the U.S. Department of War (DoW), Office of
the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict
(OASD SO/LIC) Secretariat for Special Operations (SSO)/Capability Development &
Innovation (CD&I), and delivered the initial order.
The entire development and initial delivery project were executed within the
planned timeline and budget. The total contract value, including all options, is
equivalent to NOK 5.6 million, of which NOK 4.46 million has been ordered (base
order plus half of the options).
Several NATO member countries have ordered, or are in active dialogue, regarding
the purchase of systems for operational testing throughout 2026.
Fjord Defence Group CEO Jon Asbjørn Bø comments: "We are experiencing very
strong interest from both the United States and other NATO allies. Feedback from
users who have already tested the system has been unanimously positive. We now
look forward to broader field testing across multiple nations in 2026 and expect
a significant number of additional orders during the year."
Fjord Defence AS continues to strengthen its position as a trusted supplier of
high-performance weapon mounts and stability solutions to NATO forces.
