Skybound's tournament-caliber tag fighter Invincible VS: the game's recent Grand
Prize wins at the 2026 NYX Game Awards and the launch of Season 2, its second
major content update.
The NYX Game Awards recognizes outstanding achievements across the global gaming
industry, honoring work in game development, storytelling, game design, audio,
marketing and interactive experiences. Invincible VS received a total of 7 NYX
Game Awards, including being named a "Grand Winner" in the Sony PlayStation
Fighting Game, Game Design, Game Trailer, and Game Social Media categories.
Season 2 expands Invincible VS with the latest playable fighter, Angstrom Levy,
a new Challenges Game Mode and additional gameplay refinements. The planned
cadence of post-launch support from Skybound is intended to extend the title's
lifecycle and maintain player interest.
Skybound presented Invincible VS at Evo France 2026 this past weekend. Europe's
largest fighting game event, the three-day festival in Nice brings together
leading competitors, fans, and publishers, making it a major platform for
reaching the highly engaged global fighting-game audience.
During the event, Skybound premiered a new Season 2 trailer, gave fans a chance
to play as Angstrom Levy ahead of the Season 2 release, and revealed Agent
Spider as the game's fourth DLC fighter, scheduled for release with Season 3
this winter. The showcase gave Invincible VS meaningful visibility among the
fighting game community.

Invincible VS Overview

based on Skybound Entertainment's acclaimed comic series by Robert Kirkman, Cory
Walker and Ryan Ottley, which has sold more than 5 million books since its debut
in 2003. Skybound's Invincible animated series, which launched in 2021 on Prime
Video, has been the #1 series on the platform at multiple points across its
first four seasons. Season 4 debuted in March to a third consecutive 100% score
on Rotten Tomatoes and became the most-watched season of the series to date. The
critically acclaimed series streams in more than 240 countries and territories.
Season 5 is currently in production for release next year, with an early renewal
