YIT and XTX Markets have signed an agreement to construct the shell and core of a third data center in Kajaani. YIT will serve as the main contractor for the project. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the contract. Construction will begin in summer 2026.

The data center complex to be built in Kajaani is part of XTX Markets' broader investment program, which aims to secure the company's future computing capacity. The company has previously announced plans to invest more than EUR 1 billion in developing a state-of-the-art data center campus in Kajaani.
YIT has previously delivered two data centers for XTX Markets in Kajaani. The companies signed an agreement for the construction of the first facility in 2024, and construction of the second data center began in 2025.
XTX Markets' data center projects strengthen Finland's attractiveness as a location for large-scale data center investments and contribute to positioning Kajaani as a key hub for digital infrastructure.
