S-Pankki tiedotti torstaina saaneensa Kilpailu- ja kuluttajavirastolta tarvittavan hyväksynnän Oma Säästöpankin osakkeista tekemälleen julkiselle ostotarjoukselle. Kilpailuviranomaisen hyväksyntä oli odotettu, emmekä usko myöskään Finanssivalvonnan vielä puuttuvan hyväksynnän muodostavan haasteita.

Tästä eteenpäin ostotarjouksen läpimeno onkin käytännössä kiinni siitä, saako S-Pankki riittävän suuren osuuden OmaSp:n osakkeista (eli yli 90 %) tarjousaikana. Pidämme tarjouksen toteutumista hyvin todennäköisenä, sillä OmaSp:n suurimmat omistajat ovat jo aiemmin antaneet tarjoukselle peruuttamattoman tukensa, ja tarjottu preemio on nykyomistajille houkutteleva. Ostotarjouksen tarjousaika päättyy 25.9.2026.
