Springvest operates in the financial services industry. The company operates as a manager and organizer of public issues for previously unlisted growth companies. The company provides financing and opportunities to invest in unlisted shares. The operations are conducted primarily in Finland. Springvest was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Helsinki.

“As part of the overall arrangement, negotiations are also underway regarding a share arrangement consisting of a strategic share purchase and call options, in which HTGP has offered to buy Springvest shares from certain shareholders of the company at 8.464 euros per share.” The transaction then materialized today: Block trade at 2:22 PM. In the trade, 103,854 shares were sold for 8.464 euros each.

Kasper and Antti have given their comments on Springvest’s new strategic cooperation.   Springvest announced on Tuesday that it had signed a preliminary agreement for strategic cooperation with the service company HT Growth Partners Oy (HTGP). The goal of the cooperation is to create a service package aimed at growth companies, which supports companies not only in financing but also in operational growth. The arrangement also includes HTGP’s offer to purchase Springvest shares at a price higher than the current market price. Hopefully, distributing shares as dividends doesn’t become a common practice. At least I myself will probably never own enough Springvest to avoid accumulating very small amounts of these shares, the sale of which is never profitable, at least at Nordnet’s prices.

Springvest’s funding round for KuvaSpace filled up quickly.

Here are Kassu’s and Antti’s comments on how the company distributes its owned Solar Foods shares to its owners.  Springvest announced on Tuesday that the company’s board of directors has decided to distribute a portion of the 2024 financial year’s profit distribution as shares in portfolio company Solar Foods Plc. The distribution of assets as shares is a way for the company to realize value for investors without selling assets. It probably went completely off the rails. In the peak year 2021, 33 million were raised with a compelling story, but this didn’t seem to materialize in terms of numbers. Consequently, a new funding round couldn’t be put together, so the company was liquidated.
