Customer service is not a billable service in occupational health, or in healthcare in general. If you book a 30-minute phone consultation with a doctor just to reschedule your appointment, then it gets a bit more complicated.

They are even making outbound calls to occupational health customers and selling “promotional check-ups.” It’s good that they are selling. Otherwise, I’ve been following closely that companies are tightening the purse strings even on occupational health costs. Visits can be cut out...
