Wärtsilä reported exceptionally strong order intake and continues to deliver solid performance. In addition to its strong momentum, the company has sharpened its strategic focus over the past six years by divesting a total of 11 businesses. The final two divestments were completed during the quarter.

Energy has performed better than expected, but continuing order growth is increasingly difficult.
