Lumito AB (publ) ("Lumito" or the "Company") today announces that Pascal Bamford has been appointed Chair of the Company’s Scientific Advisory Board (SAB). He succeeds Paul Waring, who will continue to serve as a trusted advisor and remain closely engaged with Lumito going forward.
The change reflects Lumito’s transition into an increasingly commercial phase, where Bamford’s extensive industry experience and network are well aligned with the Company’s strategic priorities.
Pascal Bamford brings deep expertise from the pharmaceutical and diagnostics sectors, with a strong track record in translating innovative technologies into commercial opportunities. His experience, including within oncology and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) development, is highly relevant as Lumito advances its SCIZYS platform toward broader adoption.
“It has been a privilege to serve as Chair of Lumito’s Scientific Advisory Board and to follow the company’s journey. Lumito has built a strong scientific foundation and a highly promising technology platform. I am very pleased to continue supporting the team in an advisory capacity, and I look forward to seeing Pascal take on this role as the company moves further into its commercial phase” , says Paul Waring, previous Chairman of Lumito’s Scientific Advisory Board.
“I am excited to take on this role at such an important stage for Lumito. The SCIZYS platform has significant potential, particularly in supporting the development of next-generation therapies such as ADCs, and I look forward to working closely with the team to realize these opportunities”, says Pascal Bamford, new Chairman of Lumito’s Scientific Adivsory Board.
"Paul has played a key role in shaping Lumito’s scientific direction and supporting the development of our technology. We are very grateful for his contributions and are pleased that he will continue to support the company. At the same time, we are entering a new phase where Pascal’s commercial perspective and network will be instrumental as we accelerate our market activities", says Sanna Wallenborg, CEO of Lumito.
