Here are Antti & Antti’s comments on Nightingale’s management team changes.  Nightingale Health announced on Friday that it is reforming its management team composition. With the changes, the scientific director will step down, and the company will recruit a medical director. This news is a continuation of the CFO change announced earlier in the week, and in light of these, Nightingale is now rebuilding its leadership to better support the growth phase of the company’s healthcare business. The background to these changes is, in our view, logical, as Nightingale has already in recent years shifted the focus of its strategy towards the commercial scaling of its technology. The news does not cause immediate pressure for changes to our forecasts. A couple of months ago, I pondered that the company’s board is very homegrown for a global growth phase, and indeed, so is the management team. Finally, we are starting to build what is needed for the international growth phase, but the execution is very cautious, and at least a year late. As I already wrote in the options chain, I prefer leadership that boldly builds the future a bit ahead of time, not belatedly. Well, better now than never, but at least a couple of new people also on the board, and more people who have already earned their stripes in the management team!

Damn it. I have a hunch that Barrett is leaving on his own initiative. He is the only person in the company’s management team who has managed to communicate the importance of technology in a way that others besides geeks understand, and Suna has not shown any signs of learning. As a reminder of Barrett’s communication skills, here’s the May webinar I commented on at the time:  \u003e Jeffrey Barrett’s description of the scientific basis of the analysis (starting at 17m30s) is the best description of Nightingale’s differentiation I’ve heard so far - especially better than the CEO’s high-level fluff. Similarly, Charles Alessi’s (starting at 33m) example of data usage in a clinical context is excellently practical. To my knowledge, Nightingale has not communicated things like this before. CEO Suna, on the other hand, has been rambling about the same things for at least seven years, since I first heard him. Those talks haven’t significantly built credibility. https://youtu.be/mb64f6iEMqE I wouldn’t be worried about the continuation of scientific development; they’ve been able to develop science until now. But where are product development, commercial development, and SALES development? Just over a year ago, I considered this a fairly risk-free stock in my portfolio, especially compared to my previous position, but since then, a third of the capital has melted away while the rest of the market has risen by a third. It wasn’t risk-free, and with these steps, the risks don’t seem to be decreasing.

The main focus of the new composition is on expanding the clinical use of the company’s technology globally and accelerating its commercial growth phase. The company will continue its product development investments, but the focus will shift to the growth phase of the healthcare business. The following changes will take place in the composition of the management team to implement the reform: Jeffrey Barrett, Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), who has served on Nightingale Health Plc’s management team since September 2021, will step down from his position no later than March 2026. The company will not hire a new Chief Scientific Officer but will initiate recruitment for a Chief Medical Officer (CMO). The new person’s task will be to enhance the management team’s expertise in practical clinical work and the commercial implementation of new medical methods. The company’s current management team members, Dr. Salla Ruosaari, Chief Product Development Officer, and Antti Kangas, Chief Technology Officer, one of the company’s founders, will temporarily take responsibility for leading the company’s scientific work. The company announced a change in its Chief Financial Officer on December 8, 2025. The company has started recruiting a new Chief Financial Officer. The main focus of the new person’s role is to plan and implement functions that support the company’s international commercial growth phase and to support sales growth. Following these changes, Nightingale Health Plc’s management team will focus significantly more strongly on supporting the growth phase of the healthcare business. “We are moving into the next phase of realizing our vision, and to support this, we are renewing the composition of our management team. This way, we can better achieve our ambitious goals of making better healthcare accessible to everyone. I want to thank Jeffrey for our years together and wish him success in the future,” says Teemu Suna, the company’s CEO and Founder.

Very good numbers for the new product! This is a good starting point, and that’s what TT also thought when deepening the cooperation.

There is even more dispersion in the “easy to present” section. Paavola’s LinkedIn post doesn’t sound like the next steps are clear at this point:  As announced yesterday, after four great years at Nightingale Health, it is now a good time for me to move on to new challenges. During the four years, we managed to develop the finance and people functions to support the growth strategy of the company and be ready for the main market listing at Nasdaq Helsinki, which took place earlier this year. The company is now in a good place to continue its commercial growth and therefore I feel confident to hand over the baton. I want to thank all the Nightingale people and stakeholders for the amazing journey and wish you all the best! For me, after 20 years of grinding without ever taking a longer break, now it feels like a good time to take a moment to reflect about the next step at least over the holiday season. Interestingly, the previous CFO left after an 11-month tenure, a month before the listing. I understand that the task might specifically be to prepare the company for it, but it still feels strange that the process wouldn’t have been seen through to the end.
