Can anyone point out any cases where Flutter has been used in a ”pure” embedded system, i.e., a microcontroller (MCU)? Maybe not, but Karo summarizes it aptly: ”The OP analyst did exactly what an analyst is supposed to do: reported the news. If I were an analyst myself and heard information that presumably has an impact on the share price, I would feel it my duty to my clients to tell them. The same applies to a journalist’s work.” In the Kauppalehti article, OP’s Stenvall stated: “I received an email, and presumably analysts were on the distribution list and the company’s IR as well”. Every analyst acts according to their own discretion when taking the step to publish initial information, but I really can’t find anything blameworthy in OP’s actions.

More speculation regarding ‘CFO-gate’.  Nothing that hasn’t already been tossed around on this forum over the past two days, though. LG released its results today, and here is one excerpt: The LG Media Entertainment Solution (MS) Company  MS posted revenue of KRW 19.43 trillion and an operating loss of KRW 750.9 billion, reflecting a year-on-year decline. Performance was affected by delayed demand recovery and intensified competition in the global display market. Familiar-sounding reasons that QT has also been citing here (bolding is mine). It likely won’t be easy ahead for Qt. Valuation is already quite beaten down according to Inderes’ estimate, but it includes an assumption of the 2026 forecasted earnings. I’ll answer my own question by asking a) what the market will look like in the future. AI etc. Coders won’t really be needed. New competitors. A new game. Is it a growth or value company. b) what is the market share c) why after that, one could evaluate what the value could be.

The mistake was made by Kuutti and the CFO, but some of the commenters seem to be okay with the fact that essential information affecting a listed company is disclosed to us with a delay. It is so essential that its disclosure is mandated by the stock exchange rules. This has been a difficult situation for Atte, and I don’t blame him. But from the perspective of us retail investors, analysis firms should conduct the same ethical review as is done in other media. The decision to publish news should be made in the public interest. A private investor’s worst curse is already the fact that essential information reaches us last. The old folks even have a saying for this: “money goes to money.”
